Natural Juice

Juice is a drink made from the extraction or pressing of the natural liquid contained in fruit and vegetables. It can also refer to liquids that are flavored with concentrate or other biological food sources, such as meat or seafood, such as clam juice.
There are many different juices and juice blends to choose from, but these are the most nutritious popular varieties.
Fruit juices contain a range of minerals, vitamins and bioactive compounds, such as phytochemicals, that are important for good health. Guidelines for a healthy, balanced diet typically recommend plenty of fruits and vegetables are required to supply our vitamin and mineral needs. However, within this model, moderate consumption of 100% fruit juices can make a significant contribution to potassium and some other micronutrients.

European Union regulation 1924/2006 states that, in order to use a nutrition claim, 100 g of a food or 100 ml of a drink must contain at least 15% or 7.5% respectively of the nutrient reference value (NRV). In accordance with this, 100% juices of orange, grapefruit, lemon, pineapple and tomato can be declared a “source” of vitamin C; orange, pineapple and tomato juices meet the criterion for potassium; while orange juice additionally meets the criterion for folate. Fruit pulp is composed of more fiber due to the presence of crushed fruit membrane and is therefore more useful than fruit juice concentrate. However, fruit pulp has a strong fruit flavor that is widely used in the beverage industry.

Consumers all over the world prefer to drink fruit juice with fruit pulp, and for this reason, the use of fruit pulp has spread in our country. A wide range of fruit juices made from fruit pulp is also available in emerging markets such as China, India, Indonesia, Philippines and so on .
